The installer came out… Read more This once great company has recently been bought out by a larger company which is now charging exorbitant prices for their service. I recently needed a new keypad for my doors. The installer came out and installed a battery keypad, not hardwired, which took less than 30 minutes. The charge for the labor was $126.91 which did not include the cost of the keypad. After researching the average local labor service charge I found that this was 60% over the avg. price for this exact type of service.

Hi Lois I am sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with our service. We have raised our labor rate $23 in the last year. This is due to increased outside expenses like insurance, vehicle maintenance, fuel and employee benefits. Our cost to run a service vehicle with a properly compensated, trained, professional technician has gone up so we needed to adjust our labor rate accordingly. We do have a set labor rate that includes our travel , labor and warranty on our work. I understand some local companies offer a lower rate which usually covers the initial visit but then have set rates for the required work needed. In our opinion its best to have the set labor so our customers know they will paying that plus whatever materials are needed. I am happy that you are satisfied with our service technician and our products but please feel free to give me a call to discuss our labor prices and our available discounts. Peter Barrows

We made our selection and scheduled the installation.
The technicians arrived on time, were knowledgeable and friendly. The new garage doors and openers were installed in less than a day. Highly recommend!

Not… Read more So many times when you want something done on your house you run into a company not showing up, or showing up to give you an estimate but then not keeping in touch when you want a job done. Not Norwood Door. They showed up on time. gave a quick estimate, set up a date for the install and came on time. The garage door came out excellent. We give this company 5 stars!!
