However, when our old door began to open and close randomly, we knew we had to move quickly. We purchased an opener from a big box store and showed it to our contractor. He told us to return it to the store and hire Pete. "They're the best." We heeded our contractor's advice, and boy were we not disappointed! Pete was very professional and patiently answered all the questions I had before and after installation. I was giddy once the new doors were in: it was the quietest door and opener I've ever known, and because of the R16 insulation we put into it, our new doors have better insulation than the exterior walls of our house! This was easily the best money we spent during our entire home renovation. Thank you, Pete, for making my garage door the envy of the neighborhood and our contractor, too!
